FOCUS: WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP
This is a timely look at this topic, not only because it precedes the launch of a Women’s Club at the Chamber, but also because 2015 is the year in which all eyes are on Lord Davies’ 25% target for Women on Boards, putting businesses under scrutiny for their gender diversity. Through articles as well as interviews with both female and male company heads it is revealed that companies are tackling the issue in a number of ways, but it is clear that in order to have women in leadership, a whole culture change is needed to ensure that women are recruited, mentored, trained and retained throughout their careers to feed the all-important talent pipeline.

Richard Brown becomes interim Chamber President
For personal and professional reasons, Arnaud Bamberger has taken the decision to step down as President and resign from the Board of the Chamber. Arnaud has given the Chamber more than 20 years of service, both as a Director of the Board and for the past two years as President, and we would like to thank him for his hard work and dedication. Following his decision, the Board asked me, as Deputy President, to step into the role of President until the next Annual General Meeting.
